- Download the event .ics file on your computer.
- Open Google Calendar on a computer.
- In the top right, click Settings.
- Open the Calendars tab.
- Click Import calendars between the My calendars and Other Calendars sections.
- Click Choose File and select the file you exported.
- Choose which calendar to add the imported events to. By default, events will be imported into your primary calendar.
- Click Import.
Note: Emails with attached .ics files might contain instant Add to Calendar button. You can use it, but we still recommend you import events manually, if you want to update them later on.
Once you add an email to your google calendar, the next email will contain a box with the event details in it, while all the previous ones will have their boxes indicating that the event has been changed or canceled.
